Raymond “Buddy” Young | Regional Director
Raymond “Buddy” Young is nationally recognized in the emergency management field for his extensive expertise in debris management and his in-depth knowledge of FEMA policies and procedures. He served as Regional Director of FEMA Region VI from 1993 to 2001 and then as administrator for 133 federally declared disasters and emergencies. Buddy has been directly involved in field operations for all major disasters dating back to Hurricane Isabel in 2003. His background includes serving as a Captain of the Arkansas State Police for 26 years. Currently, he is a member of the Board of Directors for Disaster Recovery Contractors Association (DRCA).
